The Cambridge Autumn Festival 2017

It's a week and a half of pretty much non-stop festival fun…

There are concerts galore - a glamourous Hollywood-themed show, an evening of jazz and contemporary music, and an orchestra formed especially for the festival. There's loads of variety - there's an all-day art workshop, a crime writer's talk, a Pecha Kucha night, a burlesque show, fashion show and high tea afternoon, a "random acts of poetry day" and the Whitehall Ridge traverse.
There are plenty of free events, and the events that are ticketed are very affordable - so why not go to them all!

The day that creates the biggest buzz in town is the annual autumn Main Street Carnival and Art Market on Sunday 23rd April. It's free and it's fun. From 10am till 2pm, downtown Cambridge is taken over by entertainers young and old, singers, musicians, dancers, and weird and wacky street performers. Art lovers can find their happy place browsing the art market for some great buys and, on the day, there's an auction of decorated playhouses, with proceeds to the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Cancer Society.

For full details about how to book for each event check out the Cambridge Autumn Festival events page http://cambridgeautumnfestival.co.nz/events/. Most ticketed events are on sale at Paper Plus Cambridge and on eventfinda.
